			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I found this interesting presentation from <a href="http://www.edelman.com/">Edelman digital</a> last week on <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/edelmanmarketing/all-social-media-is-local-2008-presentation/">Slideshare</a>. It shows clearly that even we are all sharing the same web it is essential to take local habits into consideration. Social media is evolving differently in the world. Even it looks that Facebook is becoming the leading global player there are several other local champions &#8211; especially in Europe. Brand websites will lose attention to the consumers since a new web (in social networks) is evolving and if your brand isn&#8217;t part there you are out of the conversation, out of the loop, out of the mind, out of the consideration set.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The new <a href="http://www.sinnerschrader.de/" target="_blank">SinnerSchrader website</a> is online quite for a while, and I was thinking about their website approach. Why shouldn&#8217;t you use all the nice applications like Google Documents, Twitter, XING or Flickr for your own corporate site? Most of the content that you would upload is already out there. You don&#8217;t need to write the same story a second time, and I get the feeling that by linking to other websites the reader gets even more the impression that the company and their content is real and not just <a href="http://enron.com/" target="_blank">shiny-corporate-press-release-information</a>. Ok, on the other hand you can get problems with the usability and probably not all information can be presented in your corporate design but I think the way you are using the medium and the feeling you can create with it is more important. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Letzte Woche hat <a href="http://www.interbrand.com/" target ="_blank">Interbrand</a> die <a href="http://www.ourfishbowl.com/images/surveys/Interbrand_BGB_2007.pdf" target ="_blank">Best Global Brands 2007</a> verÃ¶ffentlicht und heute hab ich mal endlich Zeit gefunden, dass sehr schÃ¶n gestaltet Whitepaper zu lesen. <a href="http://www.coca-cola.com" target ="_blank">Coca Cola</a> (Brand Value: 65.324 $M) ist noch immer die mit Abstand beste Marke. Die sehr schÃ¶ne Coke Side of Life Kampagne von <a href="http://www.wk.com/" target ="_blank">Wieden + Kennedy</a> konnte wohl nicht ganz den schlechten Launch von Coke Zero ausgleichen, daher -3%. Auch <a href="http://world.honda.com" target ="_blank">Honda </a>(19.) dÃ¼rfte von der Zusammenarbeit mit W+K sehr profitiert haben +6% und <a href="http://www.canneslions.com/press/index.cfm?pressid=22" target ="_blank">Advertiser of the year</a> in Cannes. Die Shootingstars sind mit <a href="http://www.google.com/" target ="_blank">Google</a> (20./+44%), <a href="http://www.zara.com/v07/index.html" target ="_blank">Zara</a> (64./+22%) und <a href="http://www.apple.com/" target ="_blank">Apple</a> (33./+21%) alle sehr naheliegend. Zu den groÃŸen Verlieren zÃ¤hlen Ford, GAP, Kodak und fÃ¼r mich doch Ã¼berraschend auch Motorola &#8211; Naja, das RAZR gibt es jetzt auch schon wieder ein paar Jahre und die Zusammenarbeit mit Apple hatte wohl keinen weiteren Imagegewinn fÃ¼r Motorola ausgelÃ¶st.<br />

Bereits im Juni hatten die Strategen <a href="http://www.ayr.ch/" target ="_blank">AY&#038;R </a>die Ergebnisse des Brand Asset Valuator fÃ¼r die Schweiz verÃ¶ffentlicht und konnten laut ihrem <a href="http://ayr.typepad.com/" target ="_blank">Blog</a> wohl auch einiges an Buzz und New Business generieren. Mein Ex-Chef und Managing Partner von AY&#038;R Caspar Coppetti hat es damit auf alle FÃ¤lle zu einem <a href="http://ayr.typepad.com/ayr_weblog/files/CashDaily.mov" target ="_blank">TV Beitrag</a> in Cash Daily gebracht. Gratulation and Casper und sein Team &#8211; ich bin Ã¼brigens noch immer schwer begeistert vom BAV, ein sehr nÃ¼tzliches Tool fÃ¼r Planner. Lisa Sugar von <a href="http://www.yrvienna.at/" target ="_blank">Y&#038;R Vienna</a> arbeite schon an der Ã–sterreich Variante, die wohl nÃ¤chstes Jahr verÃ¶ffentlicht wird, hoffentlich gibts dann auch ein schÃ¶nes Whitepaper.</p>
